--- Uploading ---

What type of files can I upload?
You can upload nearly any type of file, including (but not limited to): zip, rar, tar, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, pjpeg, psd, bin, exe, wmv, mpg, mpeg, avi, vob, mov, mp2, mp3, mp4, html, htm, asp, aspx, js, txt, cfm, cfml, and so on.

What kind of upload limits do you have?
We limit the individual file size (the counter on our home page keeps a constantly up to date number), if you try to upload a file larger than our limit it will block the attempt. We don't cap or limit the upload speed however.

Can I upload split archives?
Absolutely. If you have a very large file, feel free to break it into several pieces and upload each segment. You will be given a different download link for each segment. Keep in mind that we don't split files, you will need to do this.

How often can I upload files?
As often as you like. For the most part we place no limit on how often you can use File Mojo, but we may also choose to limit or take corrective action in instances where one user is negatively impacting the whole service.

Is it possible to resume a broken upload?
Unfortunately no, you'll need to start the upload again.

Do my uploaded files stay private?
Your files generally remain as private as you want them to be. We provide you with the ability to share your files with a share link, and you can set any uploaded file to either public or private. If you set your file to private and don't give out the share link, your file will remain private. You can change the file privacy settings at any time from the file edit page.

How do I include my uploaded file into the search engine?
After you upload a file you are given the option to make the file either public or private. By default all uploaded files are private, however to include your file into our search engine, you can set your file to public. All public files are indexed by our search engine.

Can I delete a file after it has been uploaded?
Definitely. We provide you with the ability to delete your files from the edit page. You can use that to remove a file at any time.

--- Downloading ---

How often can I download files?
As often as you like. For the most part we place no limit on how often you can use File Mojo, but we may also choose to limit or take corrective action in instances where one user is negatively impacting the whole service.

Do I have to register in order to download?
We don't require any registration in order to use our service.

How many times can a file be downloaded?
We don't place any limits on how often or how many specific times a file can be downloaded. So, theoretically infinite times.

How long does a file stay available for download?
We never delete files, unless they violate our terms of service. Otherwise, a file is available for download until it is deleted by the person that uploaded the file (or similar).

Is it possible to resume a broken download?
That depends on the software you are using, File Mojo doesn't guarantee the ability to resume. Some software and browsers are more capable than others when it comes to resuming downloads. For best results we suggest attempting to immediately resume the download if it fails.

How safe are downloaded files?
We suggest scanning or virus checking any and all files downloaded from the Internet.

--- File Mojo related ---

If it's free to use, then what's the catch?
No catch, File Mojo is privately financed and is supported by advertising. We're building a business model that enables unlimited usage, without the need for a premium service or the need to charge our users. Imagine if Google charged their users for all the bandwidth or server power used during search requests - they wouldn't be popular for long.

Can I use File Mojo for business purposes?
Certainly. We regard individual, non-profit and business use to be the same in our eyes. We may however choose to introduce business specific features in the future.

How do I report violations of your terms of service?
